Anyone here use the Adobe Acrobat Customization tool for the installed? I use it at work for deployments and have gotten in the habit of using it at home too.

Also, as more updates come out, you can modify the setup.ini file for the install and chain the updates so you don't have to keep doing updates until you've gotten all of them. I then put them all into a WinRAR self-extracting file that launches the setup.exe. No more "next, next, ..."

With you on that one.... I'm using Xchange PDF Viewer for reading pdf files and doPDF (v7) for writing pdfs. They work perfectly well together and use a fraction of the resources that the bloated old Adobe Acrobat gobbles up.

Yes, Foxit v5 is a complete disaster. Continuing with v4 ATM. I am thinking of switching to Xchange as well soon.

I don't know why adobe persists not to add tab supporting feature!
Foxit and X-change PDF readers offer advanced editing tools for free! Adobe doesn't offer the basics!

I abandoned Adobe reader since longtime!

Adobe still allows digital signing free, which none of the other alternatives do. Once Xchange allows it, then for sure bye-bye Adobe. Foxit v5 is really terrible.

Why is it I always get the 1606 error when I try to download anything Adobe?

I have looked for answers. The MS Fixit doesn't work, & all other advice calls for a mojor registry hack.

I can't send a simple Email without an error, how can I do a major registry hack?
