I have a copy of Windows 7 to replace Vista on my desktop. However, I read in several places that Windows 7 does not support Microsoft Money (not that Vista does a very good job of it).

Could anyone enlighten me on the possible problems involved in running Microsoft Money in Windows 7?

    Thank You,

Using "Money 2006 Standard" with Windows 7 64 bits since Win7 was released without any problem.

To Mark39: How did you get Microsoft Money to install into Windows 7? I have tried suggestions that state install a new blank key into registry, install in safe mode, etc. I still get an error stating that the autorun.inf key is missing or corrupted. I cannot install. I had performed a clean install of windows on a new hard drive. I can get Versacheck and most of my otehr software programs to install, but not this one. I don't use it for going on the net and download information, but I like the checking and savings account features as well as the bill organizer and debt manager. I use versacheck basically to print my own checks.

is there another work around, or do I simply not use Microsoft money in windows 7? I have a 32 bit system, and want to get away from Vista.

Thanks, any information that you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

To Mark 39: I didn't download sunset because I already have the disc for Microsoft Money 2007 Deluxe, and since I know that I can install it and run it in vista, I know that the file is not missing or corrupt. I wanted to give this another try, but don't want to be sitting there all night trying to get it to install. I take that back, I did download it and tried to install it with no avail, I received the same error. I am wondering if it is because I have a 32 bit system instead of a 64. Have no clue but really don't want to spend all evening trying to install on something that won't allow me to.

Thanks for your assistance earlier this year.
