    Windows 7 and Microsoft Money

I have a copy of Windows 7 to replace Vista on my desktop. However, I read in several places that Windows 7 does not support Microsoft Money (not that Vista does a very good job of it).

Could anyone enlighten me on the possible problems involved in running Microsoft Money in Windows 7?

    Thank You,

Money has been discontined. If you have an copy, before you install, just make a system image. If you like the result, use money. If you do not like it just uninstall or use the system image, to go back to a time prior to installation.

I tried to put money 2003 on my Win 7, the only problem that I had, every time I shut down, all the entries disappeared. Istopped using it and designed my own Excel budget, which was the primary use that I had for money.

I have given you the URL to Microsoft Compatablity Center. Check to see if Money should be compatible.

Yes Ive tried in my dad PC with Win 7 and using MS Money 2007 Deluxe that went so smooth, it does work fine -- you can install without problems and the MS list that mentioned not support are incorrectly as Ive emailed to MS and they changed it and put "support" instead of unsupported

Hi, I would like to check with you, when you installed yor Moey 2007, do yo have a message said " the software not running in 32 bit?". I used my Money 2007 deluxe and it can't let me install in my Window 7 64bit.

Hope you can give me some advice.

    Thank you

Money is no longer supported. You can get the same functions and features with money sunset for free.

    Hi,

If you're using 64Bit you may wish to try booting using the Advanced Boot Options then selecting Disable Driver Signature Enforcement

This may help with the incompatability during the install. I can verify that 32Bit works fine, even with Money 2003 but cannot check 64Bit at present.

There is no difference between the old editions and Sunset. The only difference from what you remember and Sunset is there is no Online Support. This is now true with the old editions, too; old the new are exactly the same.
