RUN/ msconfig / services / hide all microsoft services / uncheck the tune up utilities boxes

Tuneup 2010 is only using a tiny bit of RAM and CPU on my system, even the bloody apple mobile devices thing running is using more. You can go into the Turbo settings and turn Tuneup off, this will stop it running all the time. But then you system will slow slightly due to the services Turbo is stopping from running.

Turbo turns off system resources not required while gaming. It's intended for gaming purposes. There is nothing in there to turn off tune-up 2010 at least.
