Hulu Desktop

I just installed this, because I got fed up with problems viewing Hulu on my browser. So far, so good, except one little thing...I have gone through the settings, and I couldn't find one for keeping it on top. Is there such a thing as a switch that could be added to the exe that would give it this ability?

Hulu Desktop is not a browser, it is a standalone app.

EDIT: It does use browser integration, but that has nothing to do with the problem.

Too frequently, a program will freeze while it buffers, but worse is that recently programs fail to start, with it showing a message to clear out the browser's cache, but even after doing so, it oft is needed to reload the page several times before it will work. Sometimes, it is necessary to restart the browser, even after clearing the cache, and too often even that doesn't fix the problem without multiple reloading of the page.

So far, the desktop app hasn't had these problems, and has the ability to use a small window that doesn't interfere with other use of the desktop. The only problem with it is that each time you click anything on the desktop, the app goes disappears to the rear. The bottom line is that there is no advantage to using any browser to view films (except possibly the browser and the desktop might have different access to films).

The issue is identified as host server overlaod and DNS!
This is a known issue!
In plain speak, Hulu has more clients than it can serve, whether you use proprietry software or from the browser.

You seem to be going off in a tangent to my question. It is about keeping the app always on top, not about issues due to congestion. However, the issues do not seem to be effecting the desktop software.

If its the only app open while you are watching it, then it will always be on top..

Any HULU Plus Subscribers out there?
I'm just wondering if $7.99 is worth the upgrade to HULU Plus. It seems to me that if they're going to charge a fee they can get rid of the commercials. Does anyone recommend any other services or is HULU Plus a good upgrade?

Watched Hulu on chrome...now Hulu won't stop playing in background
Ok here is my issue. Last night I wanted to catch up on parks and rec, so I watched a few shows. This morning, I turn on my computer and parks and rec is playing! All programs closed, no video except audio. I don't know what to do! I restarted the computer twice and that didnt work. Any...

Hulu
As I suspected, since Hulu started their Hulu Plus subscription service, the available programming on regular Hulu, of interest to me, has dwindled considerably. Even their 1 week trial requires giving them a credit card #, which gives them the right to make continous debits each month on the...

Hulu Ad Blocker
In a recent change of the Hulu web player, it was supposed to contain a change to regulate ad volume, but in reality all that it does is boost the volume from what had been an annoyance, to an ear blasting wall shaking sonic wave. In the past, my firewall blocked some ads, but for some reason,...

Hulu Desktop
I like Hulu Desktop. It presents some odd behavior though. When run full screen on a second monitor, CPU usage is 50%+ Full screen on the primary monitor, CPU aproaches 50%. In fact, no matter which monitor it is playing in, changing the window size up and down has a direct corelation in CPU...

Hulu is really the easiest place to watch this new anime i've just discovered, Bleach, and every now and then it just stops, *waits about 10 seconds or so* then continues. I also notice that the buffer meter is all the way down. this is EXTREMELY frustrating! Is it like this for you guys? this is...
