If Java is installed and shows up in Programs and features, then uninstall it. Download the latest 6u18, (Windows), agree to the terms, and choose the offline installation. Save it, close your browser/s, and see if it will install.
If you want both 32 and 64 bit java, then download both the one under (Windows) and the one under (Windowsx64) You really only need the 32 bit one if you use just 32 bit browsers, but if you use both 32 and 64 bit browsers, you can install both. Just install the 64 bit one first, then the 32 bit one, or re install the 32 bit one over the 64 bit one if both are already installed, because of a specific known issue with both Javas installed. https://cds.sun.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP...-CDS_Developer |

And whenever... |

Installing Java and Flash in Win7 64bit Hi all, I'll be installing both Firefox and Chrome in Windows 7 64bit (I use both). Do I have to install BOTH 32 and 64bit versions of Java and Flash to support FF (32 bit browser) and Chrome (64bit), or will installing the 64 bit versions suffice? Thanks |
