    totally lost

I am "new" to Windows, had 6 years on a Mac, and before that I worked on 95... so forgive the total ignorance. Most of the advice is way above my head, but I did look up the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility. I tried to download it, and it would not load properly. I get the following error:

    Script:
    C:\Users\XOPHER~1\AppData\Local\Temp\IXP000.TMP\StartMsi.vbs
    Line: 17
    Char: 1
    Error: Permission denied
    Code: 800A0046
    Source: Microsoft VBScript runtime error

    Any suggestions? Thank you.
