itunes and quicktime not starting

Msconfig suggestions on Itunes website - not working
uninstall and reinstall all apple applications - not working
Used windows compatibility mode (vista and XP) - not working

I would appreciate any help available as i am not able to sync my iphone any more.

I think you problem may lie in something called DEP> dep or data execution prevention. It is located in your system control panel>advanced settings>performance>dep. Normally it is set for MS applications only. If the all aps button is checked you should change it. If it is correct you can add the apps to the exceptions list. you can also turn it off. I took your advice and tried version 7.6 and 8.0 but they did not work ether ...
