I prefer tunup utilities 2010, because it has a good "turbo mode" which is awsome for use when you are playing games or editing. It also includes TONS of good features. Also, if you know where to look, you can activate tunup utilties 2010 without paying

Personally i prefer neither of them, all those tweaks can be done via registry.

askvg.com has some good scripts to tweak windows 7.

I totally agree. In any case, I wouldn't recommend TuneUp any more because of the resident mode that it includes in the last version, which apparently speeds up the PC but actually makes it slower.

I only use TuneUp to delete restore points and customize my windows icons.Nothing else. For tweaking,i would rather use registry tweaks.

Why? Windows own Disk Cleanup will delete all but the latest one.

How safe are 'tune-up' utilities?
Hi. I have been using a 'tune-up' utility program for some time on previous PC's and OP's and have often wondered how safe such programs are, especially in regard to automatically altering the contents of the registry. Should such packages be used under advisement? Thanks.
