How to BURN DL DVD+R, failed to me:(

Hello, I am on Win7 b7057 x64 and I want to burn .iso file (6.3GB) and some smaller files do DVD+R DL Verbatim /using for a long time on WinXP/ but when
I tried NEro (8.3.6.0 and v.7) it didnīt start burning and failed on the beginning and nothing was burned to disc. My NEC 3520a was recognized OK.
Then I tried CDburnerXP and It looked OK, burning,..burning..finished but when verifying data it was unreadable Any idea which program to try? I tried
also in Nero compatibility mode when starting app. I donīt want to burn
only ISO file but other files too. I used UDF format.

..and the Nero pop-up: " Could not perform start of Disc-at-Once. Burn process failed at 2,4x" . I also tried 4x speed without success.

I'm having the same problem here. Tried Imgburn 2.5 and nero 7 and 8. I think i ll try to install windows XP here to burn this, i never had any burning problem with winxp.

I also had a problem with Nero - tried Nero 7 and 8, both failed.
Managed to burn quite a few with no problems with Ashampoo Burning Studio 8 (including several Verbatim DL).

Maybe try the Nero removal tool, might be some bits of Nero left on your system ruining things.

By the way I tried installing Nero using XP Mode but had no joy with that as well. There are quite a few reported problems with Nero. Maybe it's one to avoid with Windows 7 at the mo.

I'm using Windows 7 but 32 bit. I believe I had some issues when I first put Imgburn on because the shell burning was active. Try installing Imgburn 2.5 and check the Write option "lock drive exclusive access." If you try to burn a blank and you get an error about something else having control of the drive it could be the shell burning or some other burning app. Disable the shell burning, if you have Nero use Nero Removal Tool.. get all other stuff off until Imgburn no longer gives that error. Then it should work in Imgburn.

I think there's a tutorial about disabling the burning in the Windows 7 shell.

I'm burning Verbatim 8x Double Layer, Imgburn speed set to Max, on my W7 32 bit with no issues.
