    Itunes sync and other transfer

So recently i got my itunes to sync at normal speed but i have an issue now which involves the sync hanging. I can get the sync going again only if i transfer files into my external HDD. In simpler terms my sync hangs and then i have to transfer a file into my external HDD to get it to resume again. Any help would be appreciated.

Running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
    itunes 9.0.2

Did this happen in another OS? Please fill in your specs. Does this happen with file transfer?

What are you syncing with? If its an iPod, you could try One of theese, alternatives to iPod management.

The only caveat to that is which iPod is being synced to. Reason this matters, is the iTunes alternatives in that list will sync the tunes, but if they had an iPod Touch or iPhone, the alternatives won't transfer the apps, I don't believe.:)

Well, youre kinda supposed to buy the apps from the app store on the iPhone, not pirate them, or etc.

Yeah, so if you want to transfer songs, pictures and movies, use one of the alternatives. Theyre faster and lighter anyways.

I'm really not sure.....I have no iPods, I've only had Sony, Samsung, and SanDisk players before.
