It actually works...and asks me about the MBR when I choose to simply restore C. However, I don't think this does the entire 100mb system reserved partition..but rather just the MBR.

I think you are right. That makes most sense.
Before I thought you meant that you had to restore the 100MB partition in order to restore the MBR.

The feature lacking is a simple MBR only backup/restore. I think it's been requested on their forum. As it is now I have a small partition with a single text file on it that I "back up" in case I really just want to restore the MBR.
