Tune Up Utilities won't uninstall completely

I am just wondering. I installed Tune Up Utilities, used it for a while, then uninstalled, using Windows 7 Manager instead.

Anyway, I uninstalled it, and I even used Your Uninstaller 2010 which deleted all extra reg entries etc, but for some reason my recycle bin still says "TuneUp Undelete", and who knows how much other crap is left over. I restarted and still there.

    Any ideas?

    1. What version of TuneUp Utilities are you trying to uninstall?
    2. If you believe that the "TuneUp Undelete" is a minor issue:

    3. If all else fails, re-install TuneUp 2010, restart, uninstall TuneUp 2010, and restart once more.

    Hope this helps.

Why would you uninstall TuneUp?It's a great tool though IMO.
As for your problem, you might want to run Ccleaner to fix registry errors.Restart after that, see if the prob persists.

Thanx guys. In fact, I did everything you guys said before I even read your posts. What I ended up doing is reinstalling it and I was going to uninstall it again, but then it occured to me that it actually is a useful tool, and together with Win7 Manager they are amazing. So I'm just running both right now, TuneUP is running in the background with minimal memory, and Win7Manager I only run when I need to, otherwise its not a background app. But I will keep the context menu trick in mind, I believe that would work.

Glad to hear that you decided to keep TuneUp. :) It's one of my favorite applications for Maintenance. :)

    Hope all is well.

You realy do not need Tune Up!

    Try as mentioned below:

Recycle Bin - Add program to menu - Vista Forums

No matter Vista or W 7...you'll "kill" context residual of your illegal TuneUp with trojan forewer...and you can sing..."Forewer young"....

...and of course never use ADVANCED SYSTEM CARE FREE 'cause WOT ranking of that software is poorest on this world I've ever seen (seem to be some kind of ROGUE "chick")...regarding CClean that's tool for GENUINE KIDZZZZ!

...& of course never beleive to those WHO'RE WONDERING WHY you're just going to uninstall Tune UP utilities when that's perfect tool....????????
