Problems with WinRar

I am trying to extract a collection of rar files by choosing the first one like you're supposed to, but when WinRar starts extracting after I reach about 5-10 percent it just freezes. The file is about 8GB big and is split into about 30 separate rar files. I am using build 7000. What can I do?

I have unpacked files from 250K to 17 GB without an issue - if you're running into an issue, check to make sure you're not running out of disk space, particularly in your temp folders (might be a good idea to empty that)....
