I am looking for the same thing, wxcept one that can also limit bandwidth usage. We have a playstation 3, xbox 360, and 4 computers and when they are all running the computers cannot get on the internet.

To do this you need to run a real firewall (going to have to use another computer with at lest 2 network cards) I would look at IPCop and Endian, both are very easy to setup initially and you can be very granular in what traffic you want to have priority and block other traffic completely.

for starters get your self a good router and load custom firmware with QOS quality of service so you can setup which devices have what amount of bandwidth

here is an app you may want to look at

Loading DD-WRT is not for the faint of heart.... I have bricked more than one router installing it (following instructions to the letter)

A low-end pc (pentium 3 with 512mb ram) is more than enough for ipcop or endian to run in a home/small business setting, unless you want to run snort (most people don't need that at home )

That app only tells you how much a single computer has used. It cant tell you what the ps3 or xbox have used.
