    Microsoft.Net

I have tried to install Microsoft.Net Framework and it did not work out since it is not compatible with the 64-bit system. I have tried to remove it but it was not removed completely and I keep getting an error every time I open the system, which ask me to to cancel, continue or open. I cannot find Micorsoft.Net anywhere in my system so that I cannot remove whatever is left of that program. Any suggestions?

    Hi PGuy,

The .NET framework 3.5 SP1 (including 3.0 & 2.0) is included with Windows 7 and doesn't require installation

While you're correct. That doesn't solve his problem with the annoying box on startup

Download Revo Uninstaller and see if you see it there. If you do. Uninstall it.

You are right. I needed Micorsoft.Net Framework 2.0 to run one program. That is why I tried to install it. I will post the error when available.

    Anything in the Startup ??
Start > MSCONFIG > Startup there anything related to .NET ??
Or else try Windows installer Cleanup if that fails
Go to Turn Windows features on or Off and uncheck Microsoft .NET then reboot and check it back and see whether that makes any difference. If that fails use .NET Cleanup Tool for Windows 7 http://www.blogsdna.com/4171/how-to-...-windows-7.htm

    Hope this helps,
