MSN Messenger error

Hi, I just got a new comp. file xfered my old comp to new. I was using XP now 7. MSN Messenger did NOT xfer over and is NOT on my computer anywhere. Each time I try to DL from the website I get an error with Microsoft Visual Studio Runtime and HR:0X80070003. I have scoured these forums and the internet looking for solutions and none have helped. I am close to just wiping 7 off the new comp and putting XP on it.

Any thing that help will be greatly appreciated.
