    Adobe PDF Print Driver

At places where I have worked (XP systems), one of the printer choices was "Adobe PDF". When you print to it, it creates a PDF file. I beleive this driver came from Adobe. Is this driver free?

I would like to get this driver for my home Win 7 system but have not been able to find it. I have found similar drivers from other providers, but not Adobe. Some of these drivers require payment which leads me to believe Adobe does not give this away free.

    Any info is apprecieated.

It isn't free. It's loaded when you install Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Thanks for the info. I don't wish to buy Acrobat Pro, I just need the PDF print driver so I can make PDF files. Does anyone have a recommendation for a third party PDF print driver that will do this?

Here's one from Microsoft that we use for Office 2007. Not sure if that helps...

Download details: 2007 Microsoft Office Add-in: Microsoft Save as PDF or XPS

    True
There is always limitation on free software.

BTW Ultraplanet is right, with MS Office 2007 SP1 and Office 2010 we can have our work "save as" a pdf
