    Waiting for Motorola Phone Tools Win 7 patch


    Anybody else here still waiting for Motorola to release a patch for their software" Motorola Phone Tools" I have been waiting for 3 months now....gggggrrrr...
    I was able to find sufficient drivers so I could at least charge my phone via USB...but I am unable to trasfer files ..eg music, pictures, phone contacts.
    Does anyone know if maybe there is an alternative program I could use while waiting for Motorola to catch up?? It seems like just about every other software maker has at least tried to keep up, but when I tried to contact Motorola about this issue...they have" no release date" yet. Very vague answers from them,Could be next week or next year.... so I would be happy to find an alternative program...maybe I would just scrap their program all together if I could find something that comes close to what they have.



    It appears like Motorola has finally come out with an update to be compatible with windows 7. According to their site, version 5.27 is now available through the live update program that is part of the MPT program. It says to just continue to force live update till you get to version 5.27. I will be trying this tonight and will try and report back tomorrow. Good luck.
