    Install Google earth

Hi all and hope your week is going well.
I have just tried to install Google earth to my windows 7 computer. It all starts ok and the installer comes on the screen. It then runs as if its loading with the little blue bar slowly scrolling across a little box.
Then after maybe one minute a box comes up and says "thankyou for installing google earth". One minute is not enough I thought. So when I looked for it and found no sign in my program list I looked around the computer and could find no sign of it. Nothing comes up after that. Sometimes there is a short pause before programs get themselves together and then install.
So, does anyone have any ideas as to whats going on or maybe its happened to you. My machine is a 64 bit one but has both 32 and 64 bit IE explorers if that helps.

Have you tried searching for Google in the start menu?

    Also try reinstalling Google Earth.

Open windows explorer. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google Earth\client, select googleearth.exe and make a desktop shortcut for it.

Hi Johnathon king, no sign of it in the start menu. However swarfega, your post was right. I have found that and made a shortcut and its ok.
    Added to your rep. Thanks
