I agree that the registry cleaner for ccleaner is slightly less than useless.

As with any automated system, they run the risk of getting some things wrong. I trust ccleaner to do its job, but i do untick a few items on its joblists. In the registry cleaner I untick unused file extensions, obsolete software, and run at startup.
Pleas tell me which options of ccleaner should be off untill do not attack my OS?
i think you should use all of the functions in ccleaner..there is no harm..i've been using it for almost a year without any problems..the registry cleaner is very very mild..if u compare ccleaner's registry cleaner to other programs like regseeker,i can say that ccleaner is very mild and does nothing harm to your OS or computer:)
