    All I gotta say is that if this is anything more than an option M$ loses me permanently as I move to *nix full time.

    They screwed us over with the Longhorn builds turning into the Vista fiasco that it was, and if they even *contemplate* such a disastrous move with Win 7, I swear it is then end for me and M$. And I am dead serious about this - I have always justified using Windows b/c of the need to support client machines and whatnot, but with *nix now supporting NTFS read and write, I am over it. I can use a *nix box to work on Windows machines with the added bonus that 99% of the time I won't have to worry about loading a live version of the OS and infecting myself, either.

    Have a care, M$ - I am sure that I am not the only one who feels like this. Screw us over and I'll run XP in VBox for my games and show you the finger, Steve.

    This is definitely not a feature MS is going to drop. It is way to late in the build process to be dropped.

Visuals not on laptop

just installed 7 on my laptop. I am not seeing the window "thumbnail previews" when I mouseover open items in the task bar.. All I see is black blocks that pop up with the name of the open windows, no live preview?? where is this option to turn on? - Kross
