I know from my own experience even if nobody can think of a freeware to do a job needed by a poster in a forum, follow-ups suggesting a shareware that can fill the bill are deleted as if they were porn. If there is no freeware that would prove helpful the posters are just left hanging. At least back then it seemed to me the attitude way way too didactic. So I gradually migrated to read only mode. I wonder what the category editor turnover rate is? I feel the two things may be related.. or were in the past at any rate. Let's hope things evolve for the better.

In any case I like the way the software is categorized I must say. :)

+1 me too Miles I have curious ever since I found this site as to why they seem to change hands quite a bit and not so much curious but seemingly understaffed because they have a lot of pages that they are in need of individual/s to edit that page. (I saw just recently it being mentioned on the site that they were now under "new management")

Now that is quite obvious for example with the Best Security list in the world a link I use a lot as it contains links to some AV providers I wouldn't have if you paid me to have them. But all in all a very interesting and useful site all the same.

But like I mentioned when I get home I am looking forward to testing out some more of the softwares

Now that I have an Android tablet and phone it is kind of fun to check out some of the apps. It reminds me of the old Dos days. One program to do one thing. :)

If the Lappy has enough horse power to run an IDE with Android simulation I may even take a shot at developing an Android App. But it will take me awhile to figure out something useful that hasn't already been done to death. If the Toshiba can't handle it then it will have to wait until I get a desktop machine again.

Now I found this CCleaner Cloud | Optimize your PCs from anywhere and it states on the front page one can clean multiple machines from one it is installed on - I am assuming of course that is if one buys the paid for Pro version .

So does know just what this means and have tried it?? because if the paid for is just that then I would try it.

I clicked on the CCleaner Cloud | Pricing link from your CCleaner Cloud link.
It shows the free version can be used on up to 3 Computers.
What seems odd to me is the Business version is cheaper than the Home paid version.

EDIT: The business license is probably $2/month per device ???

David yes mate I did see that afterwards and I might just try it on my main desktop when I get home.

Shawn I saw the Enhancer in a reply from Callender and I did install it but it killed the CCleaner - had to do a system restore any idea why that happened??
