    just want to make sure Brink, Either way it's same no problem right? update or uninstall and install again (reinstall) ?

    Yes, but all you need to do is download and install the new CCleaner to update your currently installed CCleaner. You do not need to uninstall the old CCleaner.

    Err well I just get a message when I go to open CC that there is a new version thats is why I also added my email addy and ticked those other boxes when I first installed it so I just get reminded like that or via an email and as Guy says you can just check that box.

    I think slePingz you have got a bit overly worried re whether you should uninstall the old version before you install the "update" well that is how I read it.
    You don't have to mate just run through the install process when the newer version is availaible - from whatever source - I suspect the old just gets "modified" or uninstalled and the new one installed automatically from CC's end

    Brink, i just install the newest CCleaner , and after finish i try open CCleaner from desktop shortcut, when i double click, usually always appear the user account control "Yes" or "No" (Like Run as Administrator) but after install the new one, when i double click, the ccleaner is appear, didn't appear that user account control that "Yes" or "No" , why?

    There is an option in the new version under options/advanced to enable/disable the UAC prompt

    then what should i do , to make like a old one when i open ccleaner?
    there's no option like disable the UAC prompt btw ...
