    Jody,
none that I notice as of yet...
no issues like when one of those older versions nealy nuked my Firefox Profile files..
it messed with some and I had to redo some stuff and THX GAWD for backups..
I make several times a week!! LOL

    I don't..
yeah CCleaner does support cleaning the Firefox History out so...
it must have access to the:

    • places.sqlite db file (history tables, icons linked to history?, etc)

in that case with the CHANGES to FF v55
fav.icons have been moved from places.sqlite to favicons.sqlite
    https://reviewboard.mozilla.org/r/97...6#index_header

    hmm...
so CCleaner will need to update to support that AND still have current support for
Firefox v52.x the ESR releases, ie. Extended Support Releases which move to FF v59 on...
    https://wiki.mozilla.org/RapidRelease/Calendar

    • 2018-06-26 Firefox v61 Firefox v59.2

    so yeah...

THEN I would like to see cleaning support ADDED for
Waterfox a fork of Firefox, same codebase BUT they intended to
KEEP support for XUL/XPCOM Extensions for as long as it doesn't BREAK Waterfox or so....

the Profile and file structure is identical to Firefox..
up to v54 of Waterfox used the Firefox Profile location [DEFAULT] unless changed in a shortcut
    switchflag = -ProfileName(found in the profile.ini file..)

the dev said its having to many ini and db changes overwritten by Firefox usign the same folders..
SO as OF v55.0.1 which is do out a week or so...

Waterfox will use the following/OWN directory in APPDATA...

    • C:\Users\UserProfileName\AppData\Roaming\Waterfox\Profiles\foldername.default

and the install is 64bit only as far as I can TELL so..

    • C:\Program Files\Waterfox

It would be great to see it added to the CCleaner cleaning profiles..
since its the same file and directory structure and same DB names...

IT SHOULD BE A CINCH to add support for it

ok rant over..... more or less lol

ohh yeah btw I think Waterfox v55 or higher is planning to same db changes,
ie taking the fav.icons out of the places db file.... maybe..

You can add user defined locations for cleaning.

    cleaning the Firefox/Waterfox Profiles
should be left up to a predefined system Piriform has created..

THIS would NOT work in this case...
because CCleaner has to clean inside Firefox/Waterfox profile db files...

the only thing you can do with custom locations is DELETE DELETE and more DELETE.
Whole files, whole directories, masks, and of course pruning the windows Registry..

    Check CCleaner Installer using MBAM

Don't rely on a Registry check for "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Piriform\CCleaner\Agomo".
My PCs and VMs don't have that Registry entry.

Run MBAM on your PCs the CC installer ("Funnily enough" Avast found nothing).

    Here's what it found:
