    Is it safe to use the registry cleaner with the latest version of CC as I know previous versions Win 7 locked up or had to re-install windows??

    My personal recommendation if you don't know much about registry and not sure what CCleaner is deleting, Don't use it.

    But it's up to you. And Ccleaner is relatively safer then most other registry cleaners.

    Sorry, I meant previous versions of CCleaner where if the registry cleaner facility was used it would corrupt Win 7.

    Can't see any reports on forums and changelog.
    Will try to check it..

    Sorry I couldn't find any confirmation that it was fixed.
    Neither I found any bug report that it has happened.
