    List of supported applications


    Hi!

    What aboute Making a list here on the SevenForums on which programs and applications that works and is not working in Windows 7?

    Cus some programs are difficult to uninstall, foreksampel Zone Alarm! I had to boot in safe mode to uninstall it...

    You do know you can tell programs in Windows 7 to think it's XP/Vista/Server 2003/2000, etc?
    Everything works that people say don't.
    Right click the program, select Properties.
    Under the Compatibility tab, set Compatibility Mode to Vista RTM or earlier.

    The OP asked for apps - not necessarily free - that worked or don't work with W7. I think that is a fair topic for a *separate* post, because Office 2007, Ultramon, Symantec Endpoint Security, etc. are all *not free*.

    How about we do it together. We all post programs that work, be they free or not, and someone collects that data and makes a list so that all double instances are taken care of. I will look through and collect the programs as they stack up if you want.

    On the contrary I think we should make a list of programs that DO NOT work in Se7en.

    lol the list would be to numerous to have keep up...lol
    but a new thread should be started or least this one be deleted..
    and think we should specify if they are free or not....
    these are the programs i could find in my desktop and i will update as i have more time...

    Youcam works (oem/paid)
    DP (OEM/paid)
    VMware [workstation and free player will try server] (free/paid)
