    OpenOffice Image/Picture tools?

Are there any good OpenOffice extensions that add more picture functionality? I've found a crop and rotate extension. Are there any others? Something that possibly has both these extensions 2 in 1 or a 'set transparent colour' extension. I hate opening up pictures in Draw so don't recommend that please. I would also like something that adds effects to pictures like in MS Office 2007. Or a free alternative to Word 2007 that has cropping, rotating and possibly picture effects. Any ideas on any of these extensions or a FREE alternative?

Download "Faststone." This is a free and very excellent little tool for working with pictures.

Sorry but I'm looking for an OpenOffice extension. I want to edit the picture within OpenOffice like you can in Microsoft Office.

Your asking for a lot. OO.o is not bad, albeit it is not Microsoft Office. Sorry that is one reason I spent the money for Microsoft Office.

Yeah, I guess...But I can try to make it as MS Office like as possible, eh? Plus, my parents are a bit tight on money so I don't want to bother them on getting Office 2007...

What you could do is download a copy of MS Office 2010 beta and us that until the beta test period runs out; think that is until Oct. 2010. It would give you a chance to use MS Office and test it at the same time.
