Windows Live Messenger Help
Ok, I have my new Windows 7 Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop, but I have a problem.
Ok, while I was downloading programs such as Yahoo Messenger and AIM, I realized Windows Live Messenger was already on here...meaning I didn't have to download it.
But what I find weird is, there is no shortcut folder in the start menu...furthermore, this program doesn't show up AT ALL in my notification area on the lower right of my screen...however it does show Yahoo Messenger...and AIM...and even on my other laptop, which is identical to this one except it runs Windows Vista, Windows Live Messenger DOES show up in the notification area...so why is it not showing up here?
I find this EXTREMELY weird, unless when it was being pre-installed someone shows to not show it in the notification area or something (supposing that's even possible).
Also if someone is going to say, customize the notification area, IT DOESN'T EVEN SHOW WINDOWS LIVE AS AN OPTION...whereas it shows Yahoo and AIM, and I am able to hide those icons and so on. Windows Live does not even show up AT ALL...how weird is that?!
