Windows Installer Broken

    Well, I had to bite the bullet and do a complete system restore. Problems gone, of course. This time I installed Office XP BEFORE upgrading to Win 7 Pro. Installed very nicely. No problems. I have my 7 Pro product key handy, but I wonder if I should bother upgrading.

    I have the same question as derekimo.

    Also, how much ram is in your system,

    Helpful would be if you would fill out a little more info on your system because what shows presently is rather minimal.

    Sorry. I thought that was clear.
    I purchased the Windows 7 upgrade to Pro, but I may not download it again. What would I be missing?
