MagicDisc vs Daemon Tools Lite? and on x64?

DT just released latest version, free DT Lite with win7 beta support, haven't installed it yet. I have MagicDisc.

Just asking about performance, which one is better? Both works on Win7 now but which one has less problems? Have been using MagicDisc on Win7 because DT didn't support Win7, but it's now.

Have been Daemon Tools user since XP :).

fist off, get rid of magicdisk IMO... hated that thing, and support was not all there, crashed alot of systems, mine included... seems like you have been a lucky one.

I have been a DT user like yourself, my best advice for alternative is poweriso... handles every image, just no support for emulation. Since DT just released this, i shall give it a shot this weekend.

Seems like I'm lucky enough to not get any problems while I have MagicDisc installed lol.

But will uninstall it tonight, I'm DT Lite fan. :)

By the way I use ImgBurn to burn some image files.

Virtual Clone Drive won me over from DT. VCD has support for Blu-Ray images and can set up 15 virtual drives. Not only that, it's simple and easy to use.

Actually I like UltraISO -- had also no probs copying / creating full ISO's even from Commercial DVD's with > 4.7GB etc etc.

    But of course YMMV.

UltraISO is good. I understand Daemon Tools now works on 7...although my upgrade expired exactly 1 day before the update (not surprised from that company). PowerISO also works completely on 7. Any other image tool either doesn't work or sucks.

Any comments on Power ISO, which I have? So far I have not found any issue with it, but would certainly appreciate feedback on any.
