    cant play video file in camtasia studio 7


    i cant play a AVI video file in camtasia studio 7, i can play it fine in wmp but i dont know why i cant in this, heres the error messages...

    You need the proper codec in order to play that file.

    I can't guarantee that the codecs I suggest will install in Camtasia, but you can get an xvid codec here:

    Free-Codecs.com :: Download Koepi's XviD Codec 1.2.2 : XviD is a video codec just like DivX.

    If you want a bunch of codecs for different types of videos, use:

    Free-Codecs.com : Download K-Lite Codec Pack 5.8.3 FULL, K-Lite Codec Pack 5.8.3 STANDARD, K-Lite Codec Pack 5.8.3 BASIC : K-Lite Codec Pack is a collection of codecs and related tools

    BTW, I highly recommend that you use either VLC Media Player or Media Player Classic HomeCinema.
