    Visual C++ 2008 Installation Problem


    I have Downloaded File Of about 1.77Mb from Microsoft Official Website and after processing it gives this Message. See ScreenShot>>>

    I don't understand what your problem is. According to the first window, C++ installed correctly. According to the second window, you've downloaded all critical updates.

    are you not reading that sentence. It saying You need to download latest service packs... and after pressing Finish nothing comes up this is what i want to ask

    that file was about 1.7Mb and after its last step( First Picture ) nothing comes up... i mean nothing comes up when i press Finish.

    Am I missing something? The first dialog looks to me like you downloaded the distribution run-time, as in to use someone's program if you didn't have that version of .NET installed.

    Are you not talking about installing Visual Studio 2008 to do programming?

    Search Visual Studio 2008 Express on Microsoft.com.
    Download one or all of the express editions.
