    Inksaver 2.0 on Windows 7

I've used this program for some time on XP and it's good for saving ink but for some reason it doesn't like WIndows 7. It's supposed to intercept jobs sent to the printer and give you the option to cut the ink usage, but it seems to just jam up the queue and nothing gets through until you run the troubleshooter and it clears the job. Anyone have experience with a work-around? The Inksaver web site only specifies up to Vista.

I've just discovered this tid-bit after doing a google search:

DO NOT try to install inksaver on WINDOWS 7 BECAUSE IT DOESN’T WORK if you do you will be in big trouble WHEN YOU UNINSTALL PROGRAM as some of the files ARE NOT installed where they say they are and when you try to print those hidden files execute and PRINTER STOPS RESPONDING because those exe’s are tring to run inksaver, I COULD NOT FIND FILES ANYWHERE so i had to reinstall windows 7

The best solution is to e-mail the producers of Inksaver and explain your problem

but you can try other ink saving softwares like these :

    G7 Productivity Systems, Inc.
