Direct Console 2.0 and Windows 7

Last night, I made the switch to Windows 7 from Vista SP1 Premium, and had a handful of surprises, both bad and good. Among the bad, was the loss of functionality of an ASUS program, Direct Console 2.0. I've already tried multiple times to reinstall DC2 from disc, and the installation goes smoothly, then prompts me to reboot the PC. After rebooting, Direct Console is STILL not working and doesn't show up under any searches. It worked perfectly in Vista, what am I doing wrong?

Did you install it in Vista compatibility mode?

    Hi all,
I installed win7 from win vista ultimate, everything went well. Even when I installed the direct console 2.0, I rebooted after instalation and then every time I tried to open the program it kept rebooting.
I was like - double click - it opens the program - I change something - black screen - reboot.
I had to enter in secure mode and uninstall the damned program. And the program its very useful, cause my G71v its like DISCO lights (specially @ night).
