How do I get rid of this?

In Pictures library (but not in My Pictures) I get this "My Pictures (Empty)". it's really annoying because no other folder has it even if they are empty.

Is there anyway of getting it removed? I attached a image showing the pictures library being empty and the video library being empty yet the pictures library has that thing.

It annoys me. Why does only the pictures library have it and not any other library?

they are the default folders reserved by the system

- usually accessible via My Documents..

I guess MS are just being friendly, by letting you know that they're still available..

Because you have my pictures included in that library. If you want to remove it from your library right click and remove from library.

If I right click and select remove from library then I have no access to the folder My Pictures when i select my pictures from the start menu.

Microsoft has done it wrong with this library "feature"

But I have My Videos included in the videos library yet it doesn't show "My Videos (Empty)"

It looked empty in your first screenshot, the library is just a place to access your actual my pictures folder which is located under your user name.

Ok I give up, I guess there is no way in removing it. I don't see why Microsoft includes something which isn't also included in other "libraries"

It seems to be normal because within Pictures you have a sub folder My Pictures and W7 is telling you that My Pictures is empty.
From yr second shot where you state But I have My Videos included in the videos library yet it doesn't show "My Videos (Empty)" you gave a repeat shot of Pictures.
Plse place a shot of yr Videos folder with the My Videos folder included because that will show if there is a descrepancy.
I can not check on my puter (W7 Pro 64-bit) because I do not use libraries and therefore disabled and hidden all four totally.

I hate to burst all of y'alls bubbles, but Prime is right - something has gone awry. I have 2 folders in my Pictures library, and have My Pictures set as the default, and when I click on Pictures from the Libraries navigation pane on the left I see the contents of My Pictures - just like it should.

Prime, try this: Right click on the Pictures library, and add a folder and click Apply, make it default and click Apply, then make your My Pictures default again and click Apply, and finally remove the other folder.
