Also Jing requires you to sign up for an account so you can share the screen caps online. Not for everybody.
I signed up with Jing several years ago. They never bothered me once. I use it only for snipping - no upload.

likewise whs, in fact i liked jing so much i got snagit by the same company, 20 times better than jing
though i was a convert to jing for a number of years.

I use the snipping tool in windows 7 to copy things from the screen then I paste the image from the clipboard to a new windows word document. The document looks good on the screen and it looks good in the print preview screen but when I print it the bottom portion and the right edge of the image...

MS Snipping Tool
Hi, Have been using that MS "Snipping Tool" that came with W7 on my PC quite often. Really a nice little add-on. However, I cannot get the "Eraser" function to ever work. I looked for an update of it to download, but can't find anyplace. Is there one ?

apologies if ive posted in the wrong area. with the snipping tool open when i click new both my monitors turn black so the area i snipp comes out black. is this a bug or is my setup incorrect? thanks

Does anyone know if there is a shortcut to open the snipping tool? Like the shortcut - Windows+S on OneNote 2007 for a screen capture if you've ever used it.
