dBpoweramp: CD Ripper & Audio Converter. Secure ripping to mp3, FLAC, m4a, Apple Lossless & WMA
This stuff supports FLAC !!
I've heard of both. How are the interfaces on them?
I saw eac is good. It looks to be command line only though. Any input on it?
I rip my "regular" cds using iTunes, I rip my "special" cds using EAC. The difference is minimal, but noticeable in higher end audio equipment. As far as GUI concerned, I don't think it's something you'd be worried... hint: rip as wav first, then transcode to whatever your preferred format.

I guess you can start by download the app, and fire it up... see what comes up, and what issues you met along the way, report here... The program it self is self explanatory...

Got another question for you all.
How do you feel about handbrake for ripping dvds?
Have you tried burnaware 3?
