New laptop with a useless software.

Just brought new Lenovo G555, great laptop just loaded with a lot of useless software, so here is a question- without which softwares and programms Windows 7 cannot work? So I can delete all unwanted softwares/programms.

    Thank you in advance!

Everything related about Lenovo Power Management, Restore Management, Webcam Management....and so on, shouldn't be uninstalled....

You can safely uninstall all trails softwares as Home Office, Games, Trial Security Suite ( if you plan to get free ones as replacement).

+1 for PCdecrapifier. It's a great little program that will get rid of all the unwanted software with a new PC. You just tell it that it is a new PC and it will create a list of software and you select what you want to install.

If this stuff sits in your program library, it does not really hurt. It takes a few bytes of diskspace of which you probably have plenty. It is much more important to watch that all those programs do not nest in the startups. Here you can disable everything (except your AV program). Disabling a program in the startups does not mean that the program will not work when needed. It just prevents it from noodling in the background eating RAM and CPU time.
For disabling you can use msconfig > Startup button, or more comfortably WinPatrol > Startup button.

I agree. I have a Lenovo laptop and I left the Lenovo software alone. The laptop is still speedy.

Focus on disabling startups rather than uninstalling software.

    Try this little portable tool:

Wow, that surprises me. I was under the impression that Lenovo did not adhere to this bad practice. Obviously not.

That's the probs with Laptops....They do need those Manufacturer's native Apps to run smoothly.

But depend of what you might expect from a laptop, you still can uninstall them and create your own power plan scheme, for exemple, but guess some card drivers might really need helps for laptop management
