Your having trouble installing HP Wireless Assistance. The aftermath after or during the installation is getting an error code saying what exactly?
I need to determine if the error is from Windows, from HP installation software, or something else.
When did it started happening, if it was recent, we could easily try system restore.
To me you seem to be trying to install wireless drivers?
Please update your computer specs.
System Info - See Your System Specs
I can assist you with a complete uninstallation and remove of your wireless driver, and help you reinstall them.
Or someone else will, im soon to head off to bed
I having trouble during the installation, the error code saying was attached.
the error i get is from the HP installation.
Previously i manage to install this software in my computer, but i had reformat my computer and need to reinstall all the driver again. This has lead to the error.
I am really sorry that reply so late.
You still haven't told us what your computer specs are, i need this information so that i can link you to the correct wireless drivers.
Anyways please use CCleaner,
Download CCleaner 3.16.1666 - Download - FileHippo.com
Run the registry cleaner, it will check for empty entries or leftover entries. When you run it it will ask you if you would like to make a backup please do so.
Fix problems with programs that can't be installed or uninstalled
This tool is the replacement of the utility mention on page 1. Please run it and follow the instructions.
RE-DOWNLOAD and save the wireless drivers, and run it.
Make sure you are downloading the correct driver for your wireless card, and for the right operating system.
I am sorry that i miss that question. My computer specs was attached in the attachment.
I had tried every step that u ask me to do.
1. run the registry cleaner --- done
result --- no isues was found.
2. fix problems with programs -- done
getting the result in the attachment
3. Re-download and run it.
getting the same problem
Is your computer a laptop by hp?
if so click
Click Computer
Click on System Properties (see attachment one)
What Model do you have ? It should say detail information about your manufacturer and model.
Or you can look underneath your laptop their should be a sticker saying model number. See attachment 2

Second post:
Also have you done Windows Updates, make sure .net framaework is fully updated and installed. A lot of games/programs rely on this and this can sometimes lead to installation problems or programs cant update.
Product: compaq presario V3700
V3793TU
The driver i download from this link
HP Wireless Assistant Compaq Presario V3793TU Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)
ya. .net framaework is installed and is new version.
One possibility is that the software is not compatible, your downloading Drivers for Vista and not 7. They do not have support for Seven.
If you would like to retry, i suggest completely uninstalling all of Microsoft . Net Framework, rebooting.Update post:You could try installing the program under compatability mode. Maybe this will allow for your installation to go without error.
Compatibility Mode
Re Do windows updates.
Reboot.
Try to install the drivers again.
If this does not work, maybe someone else has a better idea.
2 suggestions off top of my head
-Revert and install vista
-Buy a Wireless USB adapter

Internal Error 2753 when installing WinZip - WinZip Computing :: Knowledgebase
Yes, I know that is for WinZip, but the same principle should still apply.
Try using something like Revo Uninstaller Free and see if it can remove the remnants of the previous installation(s), then give it another shot. :)
