    Windows 7 and java


    Hi Guys,
    I have Win 7 Home Premium and installed java 6.0.20 and set the path variables as :Name JAVA HOME and program files\java\jdk6.0.20_<version>\bin as the path but when I try to save a java file in the folder it tells me I have no permission to do it and more so,in the command prompt it tells me the system cannot find the specified path.What do I have to do to get going guys?

    You running as admin? Take ownership of the folder? different path in win 7?

    Hi Ken,how do I assume the folder ownership and set a different path for 7 because I tried logging in as administrator and still things could't work out.
