    Film On

Has anyone had problems accessing Film On usingg windows 7. Program worked well under Vista, allowing me to watch UK tv without using a vpn, but since upgrading the tv channels will not load.

Hi Geedublu, welcome to the Seven Forums.

ATM only low speed works for me and even it has some problems. Stream speed 500 to 600 kbps, dropping time to time below 400.

Last week when my machine was Vista, it worked fine. I always use the lo-speed options, as the adsl speed here in Turkey isn't always good. Funnily the pay-per-view channels load ok. But when I try a television channel, the name of the channel appears on the top border of the viewing screen, it goes through th eloading procedure, and the number 12 appears at the bottom of the screen, but no picture appears?

Good to hear it works. Filmon is very nice, I like to be able to follow British television.

I'm unable to use filmon on my W7 laptop. I've got it on an XP machine and a Vista machine and it works ok. On W7 I get a message saying "network error"when I try to log in, I can skip login and the main screens come up but they are blank.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and actually got a list of programmes in the right hand panel on the new installation but still a blank screen and no tv.

I uninstalled and transferred the older version from one of my other laptops, but I get the same error message, so that confirms to me it is in fact a W7 problem.

    Any ideas anyone?

I have Filmon player running on Windows7, it streams OK. The problem is I can't get it to go to full screen. When I do you get the black border still included and the picture nearer 4:3 ratio instead of 16:9.

I have downloaded it to my pc in the office running XP and it goes full screen ok, so I can only think they should hurry and sort out the bugs for Windows7.
