I have 2 OS's how can i uninstall one?

I bought both windows XP and Windows 7.I copied all the files from windows 7 dvd to my pc and made an ISO knowing that i usually lose DVDs.I lost the windows 7 DVD exactly as i thought.I internally installed it .I have 2 partitions. C and E.I have XP on C and 7 on E.How can i uninstall XP?I tried formatting but it said that windows is unable to complete the format.Can anyone help me?

Did you install windows 7 from the desktop of xp? If the boot record is on the xp drive then you wont be able to delete it.

If you install XP and Win 7 separately, you can set the Win 7 partition as 'active' by going to 'Computer--Right click--Mange--Disk Management', then you can delete XP.
However, if you install Win 7 based on XP (like a software under XP), that might be complicated.

Please post back a screenshot of your full Disk Management drive map in Install forum so that we can help you with the exact steps to remove your Dual Boot as we have helped hundreds of others do.

Use the Snipping Tool in Start Menu and attach file using Paper Clip in Reply box.
