so have people had success with the vista drivers? i have not.
i have only used the h version and that one has been great to use...:)
havent seen the need to update (especially with drivers...:) unless they are in the realm of sound and video)
i believe this is what you want to see in the device manager...
while i have a tx2500 and i can say that i *need* QL since that is the only way it will recognize the rotation (tablet wise.....)
try this link..
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp40001-40500/sp40139.exe
Strange, my computer doesn't have that driver listed anywhere.

if its not in the HID section then its in the keyboard section....
Well now, no wonder I never saw it, its very sneaky, hiding at the end of the keyboard thingy mabob.
I was always looking for Quick Launch or HP Quicklaunch, not HP QLB.

You can grab all the software you need for Win7 for your HP laptop using the Vista 64 Enterprise or Vista 64 Business support links at HP.
On my laptop (69xx series) I need the Quick Launch buttons as well as HP's version of the sound driver (otherwise the volume buttons don't integrate properly), even though Windows Update has "newer" versions of both.
The mute button on my HP 8710p turns orange every once in a while then turns off again by itself
I tried a few different QuickLaunch driver versions, inc. the original Vistax64 for my model, however the issue persists...
Anyone aware of a fix for these issues yet?
Or, do we simply wait patiently for HP to fix this?
