    HP Pre-Installed Programs

Do I need these? I'm using the PC-Decrapifier, and I'm just wondering if any of these are important.

    Welcome,

Usually the preinstalled programs are not as good as some that you can find online. You may want to list the ones that you are concerend about, though. Some are probably trial software that you pay for later.

Make a system restore point first. Uninstall one at a time and make sure there are no problems. Then unistall the next.

I would be reluctant to answer that question, since I do not have an HP and am not familiar with the programs. Most can be disregarded. If you upgraded from Vista, via a retail version DVD, you would not have any of them. You just have the pure OS. That is why it is called crapwhere, just slows down the system.

Do this, read to see what each one does. Then decide. Make a system restore point and delete one or two. Use it a week, no problems delete 2 more. Problems use SR to get them back.

Actually the only ones I have installed on my HP laptop are NONE :)
You don't need any one of those. But as richc46 suggested, its always wise to make a system restore point before you uninstall them all.

    Safely remove:
Power2Go & PowerDirector only if you have other burning software
    My HP Games

    DISABLE:
    HP Update (all)
    HP Support (all)
    HP Customer Experience Enhancements
    HP Remote Solution
    HP Setup
    PC Alerts
    The rest of them too

None of these affect system performance if disabled or take up a lot of space. You can disable them through msconfig (typed into search in start menu).

Be sure you have created recovery discs and NOT remove that program EVER

I own many HP computers, so I have experience with this

"Be sure you have created recovery discs and NOT remove that program EVER" Which program are you referring to when you say "that program EVER?"
