just FYI, This used to give me hard time back then when i was a torrent user..i liked Utorrent more, because it gives me much better D speed.
Nowadays am using NZBsabd+ with newshosting UseNet provider, I’ve never been happier.

I've never had a problem with it. Some times rare stuff barely moves or doesn't download at all, but when most things I get speeds as high as my internet cap. Also Vuze is the most widely used torrent application currently available, so that must mean something

    SrtFix

Here's another little quickie I knocked off. Should work in all flavors of Windows, XP and later.

It's called SrtFix. The only .srt subtitle problem it fixes is time lines that have periods instead of commas in the milliseconds column on the time lines. It can be a pain to substitute only on certain lines in a text editor. SrtFix only does the substitution on lines that have "-->" string in the line, which indicates a time interval for the subtitle. If it finds a period it replaces it with a comma.

    Usage: SrtFix filename.srt

    output is filename.srt.fixed

the original .srt file is not changed.

    You can download here:

    Faves Downloads

As usual, it's free for you to use at your own risk, but donations are appreciated. :)

i've just come across Programmer's Notepad - a free open-source text editor packed with useful features, including tabbed documents, explorer browser, extensive syntax highlighting, powerful search/replace features and lots more cool stuff.

i've tried a few notepad replacements, and I think this is the best of the bunch. if you're a coder and/or have to edit lots of text files, give this a try!

    Ant Renamer

    antp.be > Software > Ant Renamer

There's no two ways about it: renaming files can be a pain in the neck. By extension, renaming a bunch of files is a BIG pain in the neck. There are several tools out there that can help make the process bit easier, but in our experience most of them remove some but not all of the aforementioned pain.
Ant Renamer seems to have several features not shared by all the available tools, several of which may actually be useful. For example, it can access MP3 ID Tags from your audio files, meaning that you can end up with file names that add actual information to your files. It can also pull EXIF data from image files, making those filenames smarter as well. In addition, you can use regular expressions in choosing and naming files, allowing you almost unlimited power in your renaming schemes. It's available in nearly a dozen different languages, and supports Unicode characters, so you aren't restricted to only Latin alphabets.
