Please let us know if you run across a 64-bit program that will mount ISOs.

    Thanks.

    Hey Brink,

Please add to your ISODisk blurb that it does NOT work with 64-bit editions. The warning on the linked site is easily overlooked (or at least, in defense of my frail ego, I maintain it is). Please let us know if you run across a 64-bit program that will mount ISOs.

    Thanks.
Alcohol 52% works on Windows 7 x64, and is free.

A slightly different approach is SlySoft's Virtual Clone Drive that creates one or more persistent virtual drives that will mount ISO files. I've had no issues running it on 64-bit Windows 7.

Don't know if it has been mentioned (can't possibly read through this whole thread ) but DisplayFusion is listed in the original post as a tool to add taskbars to multiple monitors, however, this is only true if you use the paid version (or the 30 day trial). Got really happy when I thought I had found a free program to do that in a good way, but turns out I was a bit too early with the celebrations.

It is possible it started out FREE and then turned PAID. The original Thread started in Sept. 2008.

Sorry for the late reply. I just tested ISODisk again, and it created a ISO file from a Windows 7 DVD without a problem on my 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 RC.
