QFS is a tiny Visual Basic program that fast searches on the "Favorites" directory for a string in the name, or in the URL or both of your Internet's shortcut files.The program was written because the fact that, although one maintains a structured and sorted favorites folder, it is lots faster to search for a favorite than navigating the long structured favorites tree.
If you have hundreds or thousands of favorites, try QFS! It is worth downloading and trying! The download is only 35 KB. Very fast. PORTABLE

Don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere but I found this small utility that can find serial numbers, license numbers, product keys, etc. Particularly useful if you've misplaced these numbers and are trying to format/reinstall your system. It's a stand alone app that would be ideal for a flash drive. Also recommended by Major Geeks, Softpedia, etc.

Here's another one done by skwire of donationcoder by request.

I wanted an easy way to total up the track times of albums listed on AllMusic. If there's 6 or more tracks it's a pain to key them in a time calculator.

skwire cooked up this paste pad called TimeStampCalc:

Idea : Time Calculator that accepts a column paste of mm:ss - DonationCoder.com

Just select the track info on AllMusic or another site that uses MM:SS format to show the track times. Paste it in. The program scans the text and adds the times showing the total at the bottom. Very neat.
