Did you notice the installer of that Microsoft Mathematics asks if you want to add mathematic features to Word and Excel? It's very nicely integrated to Office, which is a big plus.
Something that I didn't see that I put on every version/ copy of windows I own is
Universal extractor.

It will allow you a context menu ability to extract any form of compression you can think of, it will even disassemble some installer packages. Handles multi-part rar's and all that good stuff. I got tired of having multiple programs installed for extracting compressed files, and this one is a real winner. Though it's possible it's here somewhere and I missed it ...there is 46 pages to this thread after all.
