On the one I recommended in the below quoted post, (TeraCopy), I should add that the latest beta version seems to work better in 7 and is quite stable and, in fact, working flawlessly for me. Shows more info by default while file copy/move is being carried out. Integrates with explorer seamlessly, i.e., uses explorer pre-existing context menu commands or the context menu commands added by the Ultimate Windows Tweaker v.2 (see below for more on that one).
Still don't see TeraCopy (or the beta version) in the list on the first page. The latest beta version seems to work better, imo, in 7. Been using it for a while now with no issues.
Also the Ultimate Windows Tweaker v.2 which I mentioned in an earlier post is fully compatible with 7 and, among other useful things, lets you easily add (and subsequently remove if you ever want) various things to the explorer right click context menu, such as "copy to folder" and "move to folder" and "take ownership." I find these to be incredibly useful. So don't understand why that one hasn't made it into the list on the front page. Seems to me would be a very worthy addition. . . but whatever.

just tried the latest Samsung New PC Studio V 1.2.0 IG2 on Windows 7 x64, build 7264 works fine, it installed the driver for samsung E250 correctly ( not tested with other samsung models though) and it can sync the contacts and other files from your mobile to PC. initially Windows 7 Does not detect the E250 model unlike my nokia E51, even with windows update, but once this software installs with the built-in drivers, you just plug in the Mobile through the USB port and it will configure the drivers for it. Haven't tested this under bluetooth or x86 yet though. here is a screeny:
EDIT: I forgot to say there is two versions available for download from samsung, one for vista and one for XP, the version I used was the vista version, and I installeded it with vista compatability mode ( just in case ).

Password Safe V3.1 onwards works fine on Win 7 64-bit.
Am I alone in finding PSI Secunia a complete PITA?
It's insatiable.
It keeps teling me I've got insecure programs, mainly Adobe Reader and Firefox.
When I click the "download solution" button I get a fresh install.
After installing I now have another instance of insecure Adobe Reader.
I now have five!
All it seems to do is make me anxious about things to which there are no solutions.
Any comments on this?
John
i can't help you with your PSI secunia - sorry i've not even heard of it
but i can recommend a superior pdf viewer - foxit reader - it's free, and liter, faster and possibly more secure than adobe bloatware reader.
Thanks Mickey. I'll give Foxit a try
Secunia is on the list in the first post but I think it just constantly finds Adobe products insecure (maybe they are).
This is both in Vista x64 and W7.
It has some uses. Some of the programs it identifies as insecure do respond to being updated or whatever. It also tells you about end of life programs.
Generally though it makes you anxious cos it never seems to say " ok, you're secure"
Cheers, John
